Fo...不好意思误导你了,上文有加以解释了。详细些由我有医学背景的男友来解释一下,好多要耐心读 ;p<br /><br />For example, if the individual is an active person i.e. exercise build more muscle bone cells, OR a teenager growing up i.e. making more cells , OR a person who's activity is prone to injury, e.g. During sports and need to replace damaged cells, their cholesterol needs is higher.But if the person is "sedentary", like most of us in modern times, e.g. (1) no need to hunt for food = less likely injured less exercise, (2) sit in the office = almost no exercise, (3) adult, no longer teenager = no need to grow a lot , then taking in too much cholesterol is dangerous. Dangerous because it increases the risk of ill health because too much cholesterol is not used by the body and floats around in your blood.And when there is too much cholesterol in the blood, especially in the small blood vessels, in addition to fats, and your body's natural responses, to put it simply, will lead to your blood vessels clogging up, something called arterioscelorsis.Many clogged up blood vessels have two main problems. (1) higher blood pressure, (2) too much pressure on the heart. Hence cholesterol, or simply too much "free" cholesterol in the blood/body is associated with risk of heart problems.Worse case scenario, heart is weakened/injured/old age = heart failure = death. blood vessels is so clogged it burst under pressure = internal bleeding = clots forming = if it happens in the brain = damaged brain cells = stroke = coma.So if you look at a person who doesn't control his/her diet, eats excessive amounts of meat and animal fat, or eats so much sugar that your body have too much energy, all the things your body normally needs, e.g. cholesterol, sugar, fats, proteins, salts will be in excess. All of these excessive amounts will interplay together to bring you the most common illnesses, e.g. heart problems, diabetis, obesity, high internal toxicity.Excessive salt ~ high blood pressure, excessive fat ~ don't fell like exercising, fat in the blood risk of arterioscelorsis, excessive sugar ~ your body converts these extra energy into fat stores, excessive cholesterol ~ mentioned above + hormonal irregularities, excessive proteins ~ the natural break down products of proteins (nitrogenous wastes, urea) is toxic and acidic.LDL and HDL are your body's natural proteins used to transport fats, because fats are water-hating, can't travel in blood (full of water), needs either HDL or LDL to carry them to the liver for further processing. In simplest terms (more complex than this), (1) HDL is "good" it carries fats, via the blood vessels, straight to the liver, your liver naturally METABOLISE=DIGEST fat.
